I am so excited you are joining me on the journey of Almapura (Pure Soul).  Almapura comes from the Spanish/Latin words Alma and Pura which mean Pure Soul. Pure Soul refers to the feeling realized as you embrace a friendship with your soul during life’s Almapura journey.   I can't wait to share everything I have learned with you!  Almapura is a gift of awakening and enlightenment that will make you fall in LOVE with yourself. Each milestone in the Almapura journey will inspire you to transcend the conditions of your humanity and live the abundantly magical life you came here to create.

Faith and spirituality have always played a major role in my life since I was a little girl.  My first memory of talking to people in Heaven was at the age of 4 when I met my guardian angel Francesca during a very scary thunderstorm. She was so amazing! And while she was with me, I forgot to be afraid of the thunderstorm! In fact, any time Heaven people (that’s what I would call them when I was 4) visited me, everything instantly felt perfect.  These experiences taught me there was life after death and that spiritual energies could come back and forth from Heaven to guide us, love us, protect us, and share in a relationship with us.

I didn’t understand how any of this worked or what it even meant until November 1998 when I had a spiritual awakening.  My spiritual awakening gave me the tools to recognize that information flows from my spiritual self to my human self.  The awakening lasted approximately four minutes, after which I cried for about four hours! So many things became clear to me; so many of my questions were answered in those four minutes. It was devastating! It was exhilarating! It was magical! It was an altered awareness of everything! It was scary. It was liberating. It was mystifying. But most of all it was peaceful. I realized that this awakening provided me with a different perception of current and past situations.
This new perception came from a place of "knowing", a piece of Heaven, my soul. I accepted this new insight because someplace inside of me, it just felt so right.  I didn’t have the words to explain this to anyone. No matter what I said, it just came out all jumbled up… so I prayed. I asked God to show me a way to explain what happened to me in words, so I could tell people how to feel the peace that I was feeling. From that point on, God has orchestrated a symphony of learning experiences in my life which have resulted in Almapura and the Services I offer.  I am dedicated to the journey of truth and self-discovery. I want to enlighten humanity to the existence, the presence and the connection with Spirit by nurturing a relationship between body and soul.  I hope that as you experience Almapura you find the peace that awakens all your inner truths and enlightens your path.  Wishing you so much love

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Christianity & Spirituality

Hello! My name is Brittany and I created the Almapura symbol. My mom, Nikki, asked me to create a symbol for her that represented this incredible process she was discovering about spirituality. “Britt,” she said, “Make me a symbol. Something that has Christianity and spirituality in it.”  Christianity and spirituality? Weren’t the two mutually inclusive? Perhaps not. I started looking around on the internet for different symbols I could play around with. I started drawing, just messing around really, when I’d stumbled on the perfect combination: the cross and the aum. The aum, by definition, is an introduction.  It is placed, in most Hindu texts, at the beginning of prayers or mantras. It wasn’t until later that I realized how perfect of a choice this was: the three letters in aum represent birth, life, and death.

The cross for Christianity was an obvious choice, a conscious nod to the religion our family follows. But, like the aum, I realized its alternative meaning later: the cross is representative of new life, of the afterlife, of a break and awakening from humanity. These two symbols perfectly explained everything Almapura is, to break from humanity, one must acknowledge the three stages in life both metaphorically and literally.

Almapura is an introduction to your own break from humanity. I played around with these symbols for a long time. It took four years to get the placement and curves and the design just right, but when it was perfect I knew it!  I was sitting in study hall, working on this symbol with an image editing program. I’d been zoomed in close to the freestanding circle in the symbol, trying to get the placement and spacing right; but when I zoomed out, it felt like I got knocked in the heart. It hit me that the symbol was finally complete and it was exactly what it was supposed to be.

Just seeing the symbol comforts me and reminds me of that day in class when everything fell in place, and I could feel my spirit rejoicing in recognition. I hope my symbol, Almapura’s symbol, brings you as much peace as it does me.
